In other places bus shelters are getting smarter ….with wi-fi, cam surveillance and other passenger-friendly technologies (1. Mumbai)….

കേരളത്തിലെ ആദ്യത്തെ എഞ്ചിനീയറിംഗ് കോളേജ് ആയ CET-യുടെ മുന്നിലെ എല്ലാ സാങ്കേതിക തികവുമുള്ള ബസ് സ്റ്റാൻഡ്.

But here, (2. In front of CET) with “public participation”, a staggering bus “shelter” (?) is “renovated” to even higher standards!!!
A full metal bench is truncated in to three single seats, and access to shelter denied by string barriers (boom! got RFID tags, anyone?). Wait a minute, ah, it is an attempt to tie the posts, please don’t misunderstand… Beware of sharp edges ….

The cause? reminding of the movie “mouse hunt”.

By the way seats are, pretty soon it will take shape as in pic 3 (kesavadasapuram)
If this is not damage to public property and infringement on human rights, what else it is? Is this action justified, on whatever grounds it is based?

What an idea, sirjee!!!
